  1. Thanks Bro Jim for the sermon. You are not only teaching what God tells us, but you are also teaching us how to apply what God says to our life. Love you honesty about yourself. God Bless Geneva Harris

    1. Thank you Geneva. Also, I hope to get over to see you and Ron this week or next. Linda has been sick a lot lately and these months have also been extremely busy. In addition to all the normal church work, I have had the responsibility of planning and preparing for a medical and dental mission to the Amazon Jungle. I will lead that team beginning on February 20th and will be gone for two weeks. But most of the preparations are now complete and I hope to have a little extra time for visiting before I leave for Peru.

  2. Pastor thank you for taking the time to reach out yo your church family and delivering this message. I have to say i agree with you, your not that pretty and to spend money to have to see you in high definition while we have a pandimic going on would be silly. I also have to say im disappointed that i found out this morning you were at one point a big fan of players of the New York Yankees. Prayers will be said.

  3. Pastor Jim,
I need prayers please. My heart is broken beyond belief and I’m listening to what everyone tells me and I know that they have to be right because they’re all saying the same thing… But, my heart feels differently and I’m struggling so much. I feel lost. Josh told me to listen to my heart and I want to. But, I can’t. I have others to consider. I’m trying to find ways to get my heart to stop feeling what it’s feeling, but everything I try fails. In the end, my heart continues to feel as it does and I can do nothing. I’m lost.

    1. HI Penny. I know this has been a long ongoing struggle for you. The heart often responds to emotion and believes it is God speaking to us. That’s why it’s so important for us to check what we believe we are hearing from God in our heart, and compare it to Scripture and to counsel from wise Christians. Josh is a wise man and good counselor. If you’re getting similar counsel from others and from Scripture, then your heart is probably misleading you. I will be praying for you.
